In summer, beaches are probably the most popular leisure places. Whether you are young or old, single or family person, beaches attract everybody. Today we will list seven beaches, which are incredible but extremely dangerous for several reasons.

1. Kilauea black sand beach.

Hawaiian Islands are the very popular holiday destination. They are popular for sunny weather, hospitality and incredible beaches. However, there are enough dangerous places in Hawaii. Black sand beach by Kilauea volcano is one of them. The islands have many volcanos, and Kilauea is the most active. Black sand is beautiful but it was made of volcano ashes, which seems to be really horrible. Though it is a very attractive place to visit, there is always a chance that the volcano will start erupting.

2. Gansbaai.

Gansbaai is known as the world capital of white sharks. There is a large number of these sharks near the coast. It may seem the most dangerous place for many people, however, some people go there to dive in a cage and watch sharks, to be near these exciting and horrifying creatures. This excursion is organized only by a travel agency because of the dangers, which could take anywhere.

3. Ermine Bay.

This bay is a popular destination for divers and surfers. Unfortunately, there is a vast number of military facilities. For that reason, surfers have to get permission to enjoy huge waves. Among the dangers of Ermine Bay, there is also a park of old nuclear submarines, which can be sources of dangerous radiation in theory.

4. Playa Zipolite.

In Mexico, there is one of the most incredible beaches in the world including Cancun beach, which is one of the most dangerous beaches in the world. Nevertheless, there is a beach called Playa Zipolite which means «beach of the dead». It is considered one of the most dangerous beaches in the world. It is a perfect example of delusive appearance. This beach may look like a little paradise but waves are so huge and powerful that they cause extremely dangerous undercurrent. There were so many fatal cases that the whole beach-rescue team to protect the swimmers.

5. Chaupati Beach.

People love India for its culture, food, and beauty. Located in Mumbai, Chaupati Beach is one of the most famous beaches in India. It is also one of the most contaminated beaches on Earth. Sand contains lots of rubbish, and water is filled with litter and wastes from the public sewer. Once a year citizens of Mumbai gather at this beach to celebrate Hindu festival called Ganesh Chaturthi. There is a tradition to bathe in the sea during that festival. However, the water is so wasted and disgusting that after that bathing many people contract diseases, especially children, and elderly people.

6. Bikini Atoll of the Marshall Islands.

Being rich in marine flora and fauna, Bikini Atoll is a great place for diving. This island is extremely beautiful and unfortunately extremely dangerous. Because of a large amount of marine flora and fauna forms, many sharks come to the coast. These waters are literally filled with sharks. However, they are not the source of danger. During the period from 1946 to 1958, there was a facility for nuclear weapon testing. Though government declared that this place is safe, there is still some risk because radiation can remain for centuries.

7. Beaches of North Sentinel Island.

Inhabitants of North Sentinel Island are known for their animosity towards strangers. There were many cases connected with this. For example, India tried to contact with aborigines from a plane but they started to shoot fire arrows, so the team had to leave that place. One more example of extreme animosity — a boat was moored to the coast and two passengers were immediately killed. The only reason this island is dangerous is its population.
